Morton Division - Packaging & Logistics

Midwest Food Bank (MFB), a faith-based, non-denominational nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization, was started in 2003 when the Kieser family began providing food out of a barn on their family farm.  MFB began by serving about 10 food pantries in McLean County, Illinois. Overall, MFB serves over 1,100 organizations across the Midwest, South, Southwest and overseas. The food given out each month now reaches nearly one million people.

Midwest Food Bank - Morton Division, began in the Spring of 2012 when a board of volunteers was organized to fulfill our mission of "Sharing the Blessings" with the addition of a Morton location. At the end of October 2012, a building was purchased in Morton, IL. The Morton Division works closely with the Bloomington and Peoria Divisions and also is the packaging site for Tender Mercies.
